Resumo: With technological advances, it is not surprising that new forms of interaction between users and their devices appear, along with this advance, there are also several problems in use, both on the part of the technology and on the part of its respective users. The problem addressed in this project will be the use of technology by the elderly, an age group with notorious difficulty to enter the virtual world, being a challenge to adapt the usability of the systems for this group. To assist in this process, intelligent virtual assistants (IVA) will be used, software capable of interacting through voice commands and assisting users in various activities. Therefore, through the development of the quantitative empirical methodology, with the collection of data acquired through a questionnaire created in google forms, and qualitative, to be performed through the application of tests with elderly people in the city of Russas, this project has the objective of analyzing the usability of IVA, from the perspective of the elderly, through a comparative analysis of the selected IVA, listing positive and negative points to propose improvements.

A problemática abordada neste projeto será a utilização da tecnologia por parte dos idosos, grupo etário com notória dificuldade de se inserir no mundo virtual, sendo um desafio a adequação da usabilidade dos sistemas para esse grupo. Para auxiliar nesse processo serão utilizados os assistentes virtuais inteligentes (AVIs), softwares capazes de interagir por meio de comandos de voz e auxiliarem os usuários em diversas atividades.
