Objective: to describe the teaching of health education on the use of natural contraceptive methods for blind women. Method: a descriptive study and of intervention, with qualitative approach, with eight blind women with sexually life active or not, over 18, conducted in the Laboratory of Health Communication, Federal University of Ceara/UFCE in July 2010. We used the educational strategy, which followed the four-step sequence. The production data was filmed, recorded the speeches were transcribed and qualitatively analyzed by the method of content analysis. The project was approved by the Research Ethics Committee, protocol nº 123/10. Results: The following categories were created: << About basal body temperature >>, << Cervical mucus >>, << Table >>, << Withdrawal >>. Conclusion: some people believe that women with disabilities are asexual, being seen so childish, to be protected and cared for.
