Resumo: | Each year, a large number of dental surgeons enter the job market, causing major changes, either through new forms of employment ties, ways of earning fees that once didn‟t exist or increased competition. Thus, research is needed to know how graduates of Dentistry / FFOE are dealing with such changes and what suggestions graduates would have to improve graduation in order to better qualify graduates for the job market that awaits them. The objective of this study was to characterize the profile of undergraduate graduates in Dentistry at the Federal University of Ceará / FFOE, formed between the years 2010 and 2018. A cross-sectional study was carried out with a socioeconomic questionnaire for the graduates from the period of 2010.1 a 2018.1, via email. A total of 169 dental surgeons from the 435 graduates were answered, with a predominance of 65% female. The majority (83%) were able to obtain employment within one month of graduation and has some academic qualification. The workload of 44.3% of the graduates is more than 40 hours / week and earn an average of five minimum wages. Only 13.3% work exclusively in the public service. 77% reported having a good or excellent dental satisfaction, although only 23.4% rated the job market as good or excellent, and approximately 81% of graduates said they weren‟t prepared or felt partially prepared for the job market when graduating. There was a gender pay gap. Regarding the pedagogical project of the course, the interviewees suggested inclusion of management content in a private practice and a more integrated view of the patient. It was concluded that the graduates had a rapid insertion in the labor market, presented high weekly workload, wage gain and level of satisfaction with the progressive labor market at the time of graduation. |

It was concluded that the graduates had a rapid insertion in the labor market, presented high weekly workload, wage gain and level of satisfaction with the progressive labor market at the time of graduation. Somente 13,3% atuam exclusivamente no serviço público. Teixeira, Ana Karine MacedoAraujo, João Pedro Coelho de2019-09-30T17:13:32Z2019-09-30T17:13:32Z2019info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisapplication/pdfARAUJO, J.
