The question motivational and the need for teaching physics using something that is in everyday of the student it is the theme of this work. The Physics is taken as a difficult discipline to be understood, as well as rated for some of not have practical utility. Aims then, contrary to these thoughts, show that this science is full of practical examples and, if well oriented by professor, will can become something motivator for the student. For that, this work will examine the applicability of physics in the automobile, modern technology that is present in the everyday life of the student, may being this interact easily with the object. Will discourse on the importance of motivation of the student in learning physics, as well as the need of exemplify this science with objects of day-to-day of the student. Will be use the research methodologies in field and bibliographic, both in printed media how digital. We will use studies of authors in motivational issues, as Piaget and Vygotsky, and works of consecrated physical brazilians and americans, as Marcelo Gleiser and Paul Hewitt. It also applies technique the collection data through questionnaires to be answered by students of physics of secondary level of education. As practical activity, we will observe the behavior of the student in the classroom to use a hydraulic jack, equipment of use obligatory in automotive vehicle. Finally, the work will conclude that the professor, to motivate his classroom using tools present in day-to-day of the students, will make the learning in physics more agreeable and better understanding.
