Resumo: The Brazilian energy market has undergone recent changes in its operation, changes that can make the power supply deficit in the market, reducing growth prospects. Based on this, from the procedure developed by Phillips and Sul (2007) test log t, tests the hypothesis that there is convergence of per capita demand, per capita supply and the per capita balance (between supply and demand) of the Brazilian markets. The period of analysis is from January 2000 to November 2015. The formation of convergence clubs on Brazilian energy markets from a regional analysis considering the North, Northeast, South and Southeast Midwest is motivated to contribute so that the energy sector of the supply crisis does not extend. The use of the methodology above referred allowed to find the formation of a convergence club in per capita supply of South, Midwest and Southeast markets, as well as a convergence club in per capita demand involving all regional markets in the country, plus a club convergence to per capita equilibrium involving Southeast, Midwest and Northern markets.

Com base nisto, a partir do procedimento desenvolvido por Phillips e Sul (2007), teste log t, testa-se a possibilidade de convergência de demanda per capita, oferta per capita e do equilíbrio (entre oferta e demanda) per capita dos mercados brasileiros. O período de análise é de janeiro de 2000 a novembro de 2015. A formação de clubes de convergência dos mercados de energia do Brasil, a partir de uma análise regional considerando as regiões Norte, Nordeste, Sul e Sudeste Centro-oeste tem como motivação contribuir para que a crise de oferta do setor energético não se prolongue.
