Resumo: This paper presents mathematical contents that are seen in the classroom, from the beginning of elementary school to higher education that demonstrate their importance and applicability in industrial mechanical branch. Allowing the reader know the usefulness of such contributions and content development mechanics. First we present the mathematical content that we will use, then we show some concepts used in mechanics. The mathematical content presented are respectively: fractions, geometry and derivatives. Where we seek to show the main characteristics and concepts. At the end relate the contents presented with a view situations in mechanics.

Permitindo assim que, o leitor conheça a utilidade e contribuições de tais conteúdos para o desenvolvimento da mecânica. Primeiramente apresentamos os conteúdos matemáticos que iremos utilizar, depois mostramos alguns conceitos utilizados na mecânica. Os conteúdos matemáticos apresentados são respectivamente: Frações, geometria e derivadas. Onde buscamos mostrar as principais características e conceitos.
