Resumo: The present work consists of the application of a school project that aims to work on interdisciplinarity using environmental education as a generating theme. The concern with the increase of waste generated is real, as a consequence the environmental issue has been discussed and experienced by the population. Environmental education presents itself as a tool to improve the relationship between society and the environment in a sustainable way. This study was carried out with elementary I, II and high school students at Marques Lima Private College, Fortaleza - CE. Each educational level was divided into topics. Elementary I and II worked with Recycling of Solid and Organic Materials and High School was with Conscious Water Consumption. The adopted methodology consisted of the accomplishment of subprojects containing contextualized classes and using the curricular content as a way to connect the knowledge. Each room contributed to the subject dynamically and creatively, and made materials that demonstrated how the content was worked containing the environmental issue as a guideline. It is important to highlight that all procedures were recorded in photos and / or videos so that at the end of the project, presented to the whole school and responsible. Finally it was found that the integration of the knowledge already acquired by students with environmental education aroused the interest of the school and the community to care for the environment. In this study it was observed that it is possible to insert interdisciplinarity in the classes, thus breaking the barriers between the subjects.

É real a preocupação com o aumento dos resíduos gerados, como consequência a questão ambiental vem sendo discutida e vivenciada pela população. A Educação ambiental apresenta-se com uma ferramenta para melhorar a relação da sociedade e o ambiente de modo sustentável. Realizou - se este estudo com alunos do Fundamental I, II e Médio no Colégio Particular Marques Lima, Fortaleza – CE. Cada nível educacional foi divido em tópicos. Fundamental I e II trabalhou com Reciclagem de Materiais Sólidos e Orgânicos e o Ensino Médio ficou com Consumo Consciente da Água. A metodologia adotada consistiu na realização de subprojetos contendo aulas contextualizadas e utilizando o conteúdo curricular como forma de interligar os conhecimentos. Cada sala contribuiu com o assunto de forma dinâmica e criativa além de, confeccionar materiais que demonstrasse como o conteúdo foi trabalhado contendo a questão ambiental como diretriz. É importante destacar que todos os procedimentos foram registrados em fotos e/ou vídeos para que ao final do projeto, apresentado a toda a escola e responsáveis. Constatou-se por fim que a integração dos conhecimentos já adquiridos pelos os alunos com a educação ambiental despertou o interesse da escola e da comunidade para o cuidado com o meio ambiente.
