Robôs e inteligência artificial: o equilíbrio entre o desemprego em massa e o desenvolvimento tecnológico no Brasil

The present study aims to investigate how jobs will extinguish, how the mass unemployment, the rise of socioeconomic inequality, poverty and social suffering will take place in Brazil due to the replacement of jobs by automation and artificial intelligence. This paper also seeks to identify the groups at risk of job losses, as well as the elderly citizens who are part of the age group that will be most affected by this Technological Revolution. Thus, possible national and international solutions to this complex problem are discussed here, such as the neutrality between the taxes arising from the employment relationship; the taxes paid in the purchase and development of robots and artificial intelligence; the creation of an international organization that regulates, in a regional scale, the taxation of income from companies with global operations that offer intangible services. For this purpose, a statistical and bibliographic analysis of unemployment and employment in Brazil was carried out based on data and reports from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the Institute for Applied Economic Research (Ipea), the Brazilian Institute of Planning and Taxation (IBPT), the United Nations, the International Labour Organization, among others. There is also an analysis of the study on automation and artificial intelligence in American and English literature, such as Ryan Abbott, Bret Bogenschneider, Carl Benedikt Frey and Michael A. Osborne.
