Decision-making has been taking up a lot of space in processes such as project execution, better project design and problem solving. In the Office of Social Technology (ETecS), decision-making permeates the elaboration of executive projects, in which fellows with the coordinator decide to choose according to their judgment, the one with the greatest urgency. In this context, the ETecS has been facing some difficulties in relation to the great variety of projects coming from the General Public Defender's Office of the State of Ceará (DPGEC), besides the wide range of registered information, preventing the scholarship holders from having a clearer understanding of what is more priority. The objective of this work is to use the Multicriteria Decision Support (AMD) methodology applying a method based on Multiattribute Utility Theory in the decision making of which projects to attend to prioritizing them in ETecS. The method used was the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART), which is very useful because of its simplicity in responding to the needs of decision-makers and being transparent, because in its approach the method provides a great understanding of the problem. The methodology was outlined as follows: analysis and identification of the situation; design and structuring; field research; and application of the method. The results obtained with the application of SMART were very satisfactory, because with the hierarchy matrix in hand, the scholarship holders could have a more comprehensive view of the complex problem with more simplicity, speed and transparency. It can be concluded that the application of the method contributed to the students guiding the decision-making of the projects to start, delivered the most urgent projects in a timely manner and was worthy of the mission of the ETecS, which is to value the applicants attending all in a fair way and fast.
