Resumo: The present work presents a synthesis about the Macaroni Bridges Championship of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) - Fortaleza Campus, based on what has been observed during seven editions of the event. The competition is part of the UFC Civil Engineering Week program, which focuses on improving student training, making it possible to relate the theoretical learning seen in undergraduate classes to professional practice. In this context, the Championship, which is held annually, is organized by students who are part of the Tutorial Education Program and the Academic Center of Civil Engineering. The competition is still related to the pillars of PET by fitting it as an extension activity, since it can attract and positively impact students from other universities and cities.

The competition is still related to the pillars of PET by fitting it as an extension activity, since it can attract and positively impact students from other universities and cities.O presente trabalho apresenta uma síntese sobre o Campeonato de Pontes de Macarrão da Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC) – Campus Fortaleza, tendo como base o que foi observado no decorrer de oito edições já realizadas. A competição ocorre anualmente e faz parte da programação da Semana de Engenharia Civil da UFC, evento que atua na melhoria da formação dos estudantes. Durante a graduação, há uma grande carga horária de conteúdos teóricos com poucas formas de colocá-los em prática, o que acaba sendo desmotivador para a maioria dos acadêmicos. Foi a partir dessa problemática que surgiu o Campeonato de Pontes, possibilitando relacionar a teoria com a prática, já que durante a confecção das estruturas, os alunos utilizam conceitos vistos na disciplina de Mecânica. A disputa é realizada entre equipes, que devem seguir as regras e exigências do edital do evento, respeitando os materiais permitidos para a confecção das Pontes. O rompimento é feito diante de uma comissão julgadora que leva em consideração a estética, a carga máxima suportada e o peso próprio da estrutura. O evento é organizado por estudantes que integram o Programa de Educação Tutorial e o Centro Acadêmico de Engenharia Civil.
