Resumo: | This paper seeks to discuss the relation between the agrarian question and the teaching of Geography in the Chapada do Apodi - Ceará, analyzing the representations about the expansion of agribusiness in the region. The methodology was structured in the bibliographical survey and in the realization of a drawing workshop focused on the understanding of the representation of the agrarian question by the students, specifically the agribusiness. With the research, it was verified that it is fundamental that the agrarian question is approached in the schools of basic education, mainly those they experience directly or indirectly the impacts arising from the agribusiness, to highlight the teaching of Geography as an instrument that provides students with a critical and emancipatory awareness that can apprehend and to problematize your reality. |

La metodología se estructuró en el levantamiento bibliográfico y en la realización de taller de dibujos orientado hacia el entendimiento de la representación de la cuestión agraria por los estudiantes, específicamente el agronegocio. Con la realización del trabajo, se constató que es fundamental que la cuestión agraria sea abordada en las escuelas de educación básica, principalmente en aquellas que vivencian directa o indirectamente los impactos derivados del agronegocio, evidenciando la enseñanza de Geografía como un instrumento que proporciona a los estudiantes una toma de conciencia crítica y emancipadora capaz de aprehender y cuestionar su realidad.Este trabalho busca discutir a relação entre a questão agrária e o ensino de Geografia na Chapada do Apodi - Ceará, analisando as representações sobre a expansão do agronegócio na região. A metodologia estruturou-se em levantamento bibliográfico e na realização de oficina de desenhos voltada para o entendimento da representação da questão agrária pelos estudantes, especificamente o agronegócio. Com a realização do trabalho, constatou-se que é fundamental que a questão agrária seja abordada nas escolas de educação básica, principalmente naquelas que vivenciam direta ou indiretamente os impactos decorrentes do agronegócio, visualizando o ensino de Geografia enquanto um instrumento que proporciona aos estudantes uma tomada de consciência crítica e emancipatória capaz de apreender e questionar sua realidade.
