The daughters of war: the digital discursivization of the Holocaust traumas

Resumo: This article aims to analyze the first season of the podcast Projeto Humanos, developed by researcher and digital influencer Ivan Mizanzuki. Titled The daughters of war, this season is divided into five episodes, which deals with the trajectory of Lili Jaffe, a survivor of the Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen concentration camps. Our objective, when we connect theoretical contributions of the analysis of digital discourse (DIAS, 2018) and the theory of testimony, highlighting the discursive representation of trauma (SELIGMANN-SILVA, 2008), is to problematize the potentialities of podcast media (FREIRE, 2017) in the process of digital discursivization of the Holocaust. To this end, we will analyze the discursive strategies employed in the episodes of The daughters of war, assuming that the podcast is a media that expands the possibilities of representing historical events and can also provide relevant resources for activities to be developed in a pedagogical context.

Intitulada As filhas da guerra, tal temporada é dividida em cinco episódios, que versam sobre a trajetória de Lili Jaffe, sobrevivente dos campos de concentração de Auschwitz e Bergen-Belsen. Nosso objetivo, ao entrecruzar aportes teóricos da análise do discurso digital (DIAS, 2018) e da teoria do testemunho, com destaque para a representação discursiva do trauma (SELIGMANN-SILVA, 2008), é problematizar as potencialidades da mídia podcast (FREIRE, 2017) no procedimento de discursivização digital do Holocausto.
