Seara da CiÃncia: contribuiÃÃes à formaÃÃo docente de licenciandos de fÃsica

Resumo: This work discusses the contributions of the Seara of Science for teacher training for undergraduates in physics at the Federal University of Ceara - UFC. The Seara (as it is known) is the body of scientific and technological UFC and has been adding such as monitors, undergraduates Course in Physics and other graduations. Although not designed to train teachers, Seara looks set beyond an area of science communication, helping to train teachers of undergraduates, including those of physics, the assumption from which arose the question of this dissertation research: the extent to which Seara of Science undergraduates to nurture the learning of physics teaching profession? In order to answer this question, we surveyed the executive director of Seara and five former monitors that are currently physics teachers of Basic Education, this research has two objectives: to investigate the extent to which Seara Science contributed to teacher training and for the pedagogical practice of the former monitors of Physics. For that sought: identify situations and practices experienced by subjects in Seara, and also contributed to the construction of knowledge of teaching; found that the former monitors relationships established between the living and Seara in their initial training to act as teachers of physics at Basic Education; identify the difficulties they face in teaching physics, teaching practices and methodologies that have employed to overcome them, from their learning in this space. This thesis also aims at developing a product, namely: a manual of practical physics. The research is characterized as a case study, a qualitative approach. We used a semi-structured interview as a technique for data collection. Their categories of analysis were: Teaching of Physics, Seara of Science, Teacher Education and the Knowledge and teaching practices for the teaching of physics in Basic Education. Teaching of Physics, Seara of Science, Teacher Education and the Knowledge and teaching practices for the teaching of physics in Basic Education. The processing of information used was content analysis. Has a theoretical referential: Nardi,Krasilchik, NÃvoa, Pimenta and Tardif. The survey revealed that contributed to the Seara of Science teacher education subjects and their teaching to enable them: approach to their professional field through interaction with students of Basic Education in concrete situations of teaching and learning, acquire ease to work with students, addressing the physics in a playful manner and deal with unexpected situations, to know the reality of teaching Physics in schools and the students' conceptions and difficulties about the contents of this area. Among the lessons learned in Seara, the subjects showed that the preparation and development of experiments with low cost materials was the most meaningful to their practice, since it has allowed them to address the contents of physics in a practical and contextualized, which makes their classes more dynamic and interactive. The study concluded that Seara has been established as an important area of teaching and learning was a gap in the training of undergraduate students of Physics, Federal University of Ceara.

A Seara (como à mais conhecida) à o ÃrgÃo de divulgaÃÃo cientÃfica e tecnolÃgica da UFC e vem agregando, como monitores, licenciandos do Curso de FÃsica e de outras graduaÃÃes. Embora nÃo tenha por objetivo formar professores, a Seara parece configurar-se para alÃm de um espaÃo de divulgaÃÃo cientÃfica, contribuindo para a formaÃÃo docente de licenciandos, dentre eles os de FÃsica, pressuposto a partir do qual surgiu a questÃo de investigaÃÃo dessa dissertaÃÃo: em que medida a Seara da CiÃncia oportuniza aos licenciandos de FÃsica a aprendizagem da profissÃo docente? No intuito de responder a tal indagaÃÃo, pesquisamos o diretor executivo da Seara e cinco ex-monitores que atualmente sÃo professores de FÃsica da EducaÃÃo BÃsica, tendo a presente pesquisa por objetivos: investigar em que medida a Seara da CiÃncia contribuiu para a formaÃÃo docente e para a prÃtica pedagÃgica dos ex-monitores de FÃsica. Para tanto buscou: identificar as situaÃÃes e prÃticas vivenciadas pelos sujeitos na Seara, e como contribuÃram para a construÃÃo dos saberes da docÃncia; verificar que relaÃÃes os exmonitores estabelecem entre a vivÃncia na Seara e a sua formaÃÃo inicial para atuar como professores de FÃsica na EducaÃÃo BÃsica; identificar as dificuldades que enfrentam no ensino de FÃsica, as prÃticas pedagÃgicas e metodologias que tÃm empregado para superÃ-las, a partir de suas aprendizagens nesse espaÃo. A presente dissertaÃÃo ainda objetiva a elaboraÃÃo de um produto, a saber: um manual de prÃticas de FÃsica. A pesquisa caracteriza-se como um Estudo de Caso, de abordagem qualitativa. Utilizou a entrevista semi-estruturada como tÃcnica de coleta de dados. Suas categorias de anÃlise foram: o Ensino de FÃsica, a Seara da CiÃncia, a FormaÃÃo Docente e os Saberes e PrÃticas PedagÃgicas para o ensino de FÃsica na EducaÃÃo BÃsica. O tratamento das informaÃÃes empregou a AnÃlise de ConteÃdo. Teve como referencial teÃrico Nardi, Krasilchik, NÃvoa, Pimenta e Tardif. A pesquisa revelou que a Seara da CiÃncia contribuiu para a formaÃÃo docente dos sujeitos e para sua prÃtica pedagÃgica ao possibilitar-lhes: aproximaÃÃo com seu campo de atuaÃÃo profissional por meio da interaÃÃo com alunos do Ensino BÃsico em situaÃÃes concretas de ensinoaprendizagem; adquirir desenvoltura para trabalhar com os alunos, abordar a FÃsica de forma lÃdica e lidar com situaÃÃes inesperadas; conhecer a realidade do ensino de FÃsica nas escolas, bem como as concepÃÃes e dificuldades dos alunos sobre os conteÃdos dessa Ãrea. Dentre as aprendizagens adquiridas na Seara, os sujeitos apontam que a elaboraÃÃo e o desenvolvimento de experimentos com materiais de baixo custo foi a mais significativa para sua prÃtica pedagÃgica, uma vez que tem lhes permitido abordar os conteÃdos de FÃsica de forma prÃtica e contextualizada, o que torna suas aulas mais dinÃmicas e interativas.
