Estudo MorfolÃgico do Sistema Reprodutor Feminino do camarÃo Farfantepenaeus subtilis (pÃrez-Farfante, 1967), do Litoral Cearense

Resumo: The present work presents of the macroscopic characterization of the female reproductive system of the penaeid shrimp Farfantepenaeus subtilis, as well the histological and histochemical description of the ovarian components in different maturation stages, and the oviduct. The female reproductive system of this species is formed by ovary, oviduct and telycum. The ovary is symmetrical, with one pair of anterior lobes, seven lateral pairs and one pair of posterior ones. The lateral lobes involve the digestive gland, except the seventh, that is directed towards the abdomen. The sixth pair is linked to the oviduct. The thelycum is closed and was considered a reproductive structure. It has lateral plates with elevations at the edge of the medium line. Analysis by the scanning electronic microscopy evidenced the presence of setae in the entire surface of it, mainly in the area of the referred edges. Histological analysis allowed identifying the organization of somatic and germinative components in units denominated nodules or cysts. The somatic components are: collagen fibers, fibroblasts, blood vessels and nurse cells. The collagen fibers presented a wavy aspect with fibroblasts among them. The blood vessels are formed by epithelial tissue and were found among the cysts. The nurse cells were found, agglomerated or not, around the germinative cells and presented cuboid or flat aspect, depending of the stage of maturation of the cell. The stages of the germinative cells lineage were described as: oogonia, initial previtellogenic oocytes, final previtelogenic oocytes, vitelogenic oocytes and ripe oocytes. These cellular types showed typical characteristics at the different maturation stages. The histochemical analysis evidenced changes in the citoplasmatic components as the cells ripen. The xii oviduct was shown to be a secretory structure constituted externally by a layer of smooth muscle fibers and under it a layer of simple columnar epithelium, which presents invaginations towards the lumen.

Os lÃbulos laterais envolvem a glÃndula digestiva, exceto o sÃtimo par, que à voltado para o abdÃmen. O sexto par liga-se ao oviduto. O tÃlico, fechado, foi considerado, para essa espÃcie, uma estrutura reprodutora. Possui placas laterais com elevaÃÃes na borda da linha mediana. AnÃlises à microscopia eletrÃnica de varredura evidenciaram a presenÃa de cerdas em toda a sua superfÃcie, principalmente na Ãrea das referidas bordas. AnÃlises histolÃgicas permitiram identificar a organizaÃÃo dos constituintes somÃticos e germinativos em unidades denominadas nÃdulos ou cistos. Os constituintes somÃticos sÃo: fibras colÃgenas, fibroblastos, vasos sanguÃneos e cÃlulas foliculares. As fibras colÃgenas apresentaram aspecto ondulado, com fibroblastos entre as mesmas. Os vasos sanguÃneos, constituÃdos de tecido epitelial, foram encontrados entre os cistos. As cÃlulas foliculares foram encontradas, aglomeradas ou nÃo, ao redor das cÃlulas germinativas e apresentando aspecto cubÃide ou achatado, de acordo com o estÃgio de maturaÃÃo da referida cÃlula. Foram descritos os seguintes estÃgios das cÃlulas da linhagem germinativa: oogÃnias, oÃcitos em prÃ-vitelogÃnese inicial, oÃcitos em prÃ-vitelogÃnese final, oÃcitos vitelogÃnicos e oÃcitos maduros. Estes tipos celulares apresentaram caracterÃsticas prÃprias nos diferentes x estÃgios de maturaÃÃo. As anÃlises histoquÃmicas evidenciaram mudanÃas nos componentes citoplasmÃticos à medida que as cÃlulas amadurecem.
