Resumo: The present study aims to address the risks associated with exposure to cement in employees in civil construction. This is a field research carried out in the city of Imperatriz - Ma, in seven buildings of small and large size, constituting formal or informal. Despite the relevance of cement in civil construction, it is essential to be careful about the risks and pathologies associated with this chemical product, such as dermatosis, when the employee is exposed inappropriately, without proper personal protective equipment (PPE), lack of hygiene and unhealthy activities in direct contact with cement. Therefore, supervision when using appropriate PPE in work situations, in addition to risk awareness programs for employers, employees and society in general, contribute to the reduction of occupational diseases in civil construction.

Esta es una investigación de campo realizada en la ciudad de Imperatriz - Ma, en siete edificios pequeños y grandes, sean formales o informales. A pesar de la relevancia del cemento en la construcción civil, es fundamental conocer los riesgos y patologías asociadas a este producto químico, como las dermatosis, cuando el trabajador se expone de manera inadecuada, sin equipo de protección personal (EPP) adecuado, falta de higiene y actividades insalubres en contacto directo con el cemento. Por lo tanto, el monitoreo del uso de EPP adecuados en situaciones de trabajo, además de programas de concientización sobre riesgos para empleadores, empleados y la sociedad en general, contribuyen a la reducción de enfermedades profesionales en la construcción civil.O presente estudo tem como objetivo abordar os riscos associados à exposição ao cimento em colaboradores na construção civil. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de campo realizada na cidade de Imperatriz -Ma, em sete construções de pequeno e médio porte, constituindo-se formal ou informal. Apesar da relevância do cimento na construção civil, é imprescindível a precaução quanto aos riscos e patologias associadas a este produto químico, como a dermatose, quando há exposição do colaborador de maneira inadequada, sem os devidos equipamentos de proteção individual (EPIs), falta de higiene e atividades insalubres no contato direto com cimento.
