Currículo Lattes: organização retórica da seção resumo nas subáreas de linguística e literatura

Due to the constant presence of the Curriculum Lattes in the academic context, specially its summary section, we questioned how information is organized and distributed within it as well as which are their the intended purposes. Hence, this research aims at analyzing the rhetorical organization of Curriculum Lattes from the Language and Literature Studies (Letras) area, more specifically, identifying the regularities of information in the Linguistics and Literature area, and describing the moves and rhetorical strategies. This research is in congruence with the Genre Theory in a sociorhetorical approach. Thus, it is based on theorists such as Bawarshi and Reiff (2023), Swales (1990), Bezerra (2022), Hemais and Biasi-Rodrigues (2012), Biasi-Rodrigues (2009), Oliveira and Bezerra (2021), Bhatia (2009) and Porto and Melo (2020). The methodology is classified as descriptive and comparative. Its corpus is composed by 20 curriculum Lattes’ summaries that belong to acting members of post-graduation programs. It was possible to produce one board for the rhetorical organization comparing the both areas. We verified five rhetorical moves and fourteen rhetorical strategies. We identified that the curriculum Lattes’ summary is part of a genre colony with summarizing functions, but its communicative purposes are specific to its discursive environment.
