Fato ou fake: análise de estratégias de checagem de fatos do portal G1 à luz da teoria de Charaudeau

This paper aims to understand which discursive strategies are used by the Fato ou Fake checking service, from the G1 portal, to clarify the false information disseminated mainly online. We will specifically deal with the news called "It is #FAKE that studies show that turmeric fights Covid-19". For this, we will use as a basis the studies of Charaudeau (2013), with his work O Discurso das Mídias, in which the author mobilizes concepts related to the organization and constitution of the media and the discourse conveyed by them. The methodology used is basic, descriptive, bibliographic, and documental, with a qualitative approach. We can understand that the effects of truth used in the news were related to the informants and that the evidence used to verify and rectify the facts are of the order of authenticity, which guarantees credibility to the Fato ou Fake checking service and to the work of the G1 portal journalists.
