The homephatics doses of the journalism: a discurse against the fake news

Resumo: The theme of fake news has been recurrent in recent years, in both areas of Communications and Language. Here, the objective is to analyze the discursive functioning that imbues journalism and capitalism in the relationship with fake news, taking as its object the article “Desconstruindo as fake news: o trabalho das agências de fact-checking”, by Gilberto Scofield Jr. Into the Discourse Analysis from materialist perspective, I present a discussion on the position of journalism against fake news, specifically the mode in which the fact-checking discourse is dialectically constituted from the (re)taking and the attempt to move away from the journalistic discourse “traditional”.
