Collective LGBT Sem Terra: : the rural and the new projects of homoparental families

Resumo: This article sought to investigate the life projects of a group of subjects who manifest a dissident gender and/or sexuality and who formed in 2014, within the Moviemento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra (MST), the Coletivo LGBT Sem Terra in the State of Minas Gerais. From life history interviews, we tried to think about how these landless LGBT transformed and constituted their life projects in rural areas. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded that the engagement in the LGBT Sem Terra network changed the individual projects of the interlocutors, such as the pretensions of building monogamous homoparental families within the rural universe of Minas Gerais. At the same time, they took on new collective projects in the fight for respect for sexual diversity and gender expression in the settlements and in the MST.

A partir de entrevistas de historia de vida, intentamos pensar cómo estos LGBT sin tierra transformaron y constituyeron sus proyectos de vida en las zonas rurales. Con base en los resultados de la investigación, se concluyó que la participación en la red LGBT Sem Terra cambió los proyectos individuales de los interlocutores, como las pretensiones de construir familias homoparentales monógamas dentro del universo rural de Minas Gerais. Al mismo tiempo, asumieron nuevos proyectos colectivos en la lucha por el respeto a la diversidad sexual y la expresión de género en los asentamientos y en el MST.O presente artigo buscou investigar os projetos de vida de cinco sujeitos, de diferentes assentamentos rurais do Estado de Minas Gerais, que manifestam um gênero e/ou uma sexualidade dissidente e que formaram em 2014, no interior do Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra (MST), o Coletivo LGBT Sem Terra de Minas Gerais. A partir de uma metodologia qualitativa de entrevistas de história de vida, realizadas no ano de 2020, procurou-se pensar como esses LGBT Sem Terra transformaram e constituíram seus projetos de vida no meio rural. Baseado nos resultados da pesquisa, concluiu-se que o engajamento na rede LGBT Sem Terra alterou os projetos individuais das(os) interlocutoras(es), como as pretensões de construir famílias homoparentais monogâmicas no interior do universo rural mineiro. Ao mesmo tempo, elas(es) assumiram novos projetos coletivos pela luta por respeito à diversidade sexual e de expressão de gêneros nos assentamentos e no MST. Based on a qualitative methodology of life history interviews, carried out in the year 2020, we tried to think about how these Landless LGBT transformed and constituted their life projects in rural areas.
