Resumo: | According to Jacques Rancière (2012) all images have a power that stems from their double condition of “brute sensitive presence” and “discourse ciphering a story” (p. 20). Such a condition operates its own regime that articulates the visible and the sayable, so that one sees beyond what is shown and one thinks, deduces and speaks even without words or subtitles to restrict the image's power of expression. From the articulation between what is seen and what is said, a visual narrative is imposed. However, the charm of the photographic series that follows derives from how much what is shown, the referents of a landscape, impose silence, which does not avoid thinking, deducing and even speaking, however, the motto of this silence summons a distant time, a time of which nothing has to be said. There is only the feeling that “there was”. What? It doesn't matter. |

Tal condición opera su propio régimen que articula lo visible y lo decible, de modo que se ve más allá de lo mostrado y se piensa, deduce y habla aún sin palabras ni subtítulos que restrinjan el poder de expresión de la imagen. A partir de la articulación entre lo que se ve y lo que se dice, se impone una narrativa visual. Sin embargo, el encanto de la serie fotográfica que sigue deriva de cuánto lo que se muestra, los referentes de un paisaje, imponen el silencio, que no evita pensar, deducir y hasta hablar, sinembargo, el lema de este silencio convoca a un tiempo lejano, un tiempo del que nada hay que decir. Sólo existe la sensación de que “hubo”. Segundo Jacques Rancière (2012) todas as imagens possuem uma potência que decorre da sua dupla condição de “presença sensível bruta” e de “discurso cifrando uma história” (p. 20). Tal condição opera um regime próprio que articula o visível e o dizível, de maneira que se vê além do mostrado e se pensa, deduz e fala mesmo sem que hajam palavras ou legendas a restringir a potência de expressão da imagem. Da articulação entre o visto e o dito se impõe uma narrativa visual. Todavia, o encanto da série fotográfica a seguir deriva do quanto o mostrado, os referentes de uma paisagem, impõem o silêncio, que não evita o pensar, o deduzir e mesmo o falar, contudo, o mote deste silêncio convoca um tempo distante, um tempo do qual nada se tem a dizer. Há apenas a sensação que “houve”. O que?
