Resumo: | This article considers the reflections on “terrestrial” as a political actor in Latour (2017), on environmentalization from Leite Lopes (2006) and on democracy to think about politics in Lefort (1986), to analyse the situation of coastal municipalities from the state of Pará – Curuçá and São João da Ponta – where Marine Extrative Reserves were implemented in 2002. With data collected through direct observations, document analysis and interviews, the aim is then to demonstrate how the changes brought about by the Resex can be relevant in a dynamic of engendering that illustrates the involvement of different actors in these processes, including not human. The observed changes resulted from the availability of public action instruments – such as the Management Plan and the Deliberative Council – collectively appropriated by technicians, politicians and local groups, and from politicization produced in the Deliberative Council guided by the commitment between the Resex user communities, the Technicians and politicians in actions participating in the emergence of new territories. |
