Resumo: The text takes a report published in the Caderno DOC (Zero Hora Newspaper), with testimonies about the presence of radio devices in the ICU (Clinics' Hospital from Porto Alegre/RS) for COVID 19 treatment. Gather patients' and the team of caregivers' testimonies as a source to reflect on radio reception, articulating with developed studies about the line of research, which searched the meanings of listening. This was a possible strategie before the opportunity offered by the report, which data was inaccessible for the area's researchers.
