FINANCIALIZATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION, EDUCATIONAL OLIGOPOLIES AND ACADEMIC PRODUCTIVISM: THE MARKET CONTEXT OF EDUCATION

Resumo: Based on the social-historical perspective, the article presents the discussion on the process of financialization of private Higher Education, the formation of educational oligopolies and how the forms of contingency of public investments in the scientific field attribute new values to science, also reflecting in the process of knowledge production, through academic productivism. As considerations, we affirm that most of the actions underway in Higher Education would not assume the current proportions without the complacency of the State. Como consideraciones, afirmamos que la mayoría de las acciones en curso en la Educación Superior no asumirían las proporciones actuales sin la complacencia del Estado. Palabras clave: Financiarización de la educación; Oligopolios de la educación; Productivismo académico.Basé sur une perspective socio-historique, l'article aborde le processus de financiarisation de l'enseignement supérieur privé, la formation d'oligopoles éducatifs et la manière dont les formes de contingence des investissements publics dans le domaine scientifique attribuent de nouvelles valeurs à la science, en réfléchissant également au processus de production de connaissances par le biais du productivisme académique. Comme considérations, nous affirmons que la plupart des actions en cours dans l'enseignement supérieur ne prendraient pas les proportions actuelles sans la complaisance de l'Etat. Mots-clés : Financiarisation de l'éducation ; Oligopoles éducatifs ; Productivisme académique.Com base na perspectiva histórico-social, o artigo apresenta a discussão sobre o processo de financeirização da Educação Superior privada, a formação dos oligopólios educacionais e como as formas de contingenciamento de investimentos públicos, no campo científico, atribuem novos valores à ciência refletindo, também, no processo de produção de conhecimento, através do produtivismo acadêmico. Como considerações, afirmamos que boa parte das ações em curso na Educação Superior não assumiriam as proporções atuais sem a complacência do Estado.
