ANALYSIS OF THE INTERNAL MIGRATION OF THE MESOREGION DO OF THE TRIÂNGULO MINEIRO AND ALTO PARANAÍBA IN THE PERIODS 1995-200 AND 2005-2010

This research has as main objective to analyze the internal migration in the Mesoregion of the Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba - MRTMAP, in the periods between 1995-2000 and 2000-2010. The justification is based on the importance of the region, both in the regional, state and national context, and it is opportune to understand its internal migration, through its Net Rate and Migratory Efficiency. In methodological terms, the work was organized in three stages: i) consultation and analysis of a theoretical framework about the concept of migration; ii) collection of migration data, made available by the IBGE, for the years 2000 and 2010 and, iii) treatment of these, through the software: Statistical Product and Service Solutions – SPSS and Arcgis version 10.1. As results achieved, it was possible to highlight that the central region of the MRTMAP is the most dynamic in relation to migration, followed by the west and east regions; and that most municipalities in the region have lost inhabitants to municipalities of larger demographic size, which can negatively impact the regional development of MRTMAP.
