This paper presents a proposal for a training model on Quality Systems for employees involved with the implementation of outsourcing activities. The model is based on the NBR ISO 9001:2000 standard. The development of the present work was based on current service contracts and did a survey of employees knowledge level at the start of the contract period. The audit results obtained at the beginning of the contracts are presented. The Data Collection stage for this paper involved the survey answers to a structured questionnaire and documented situations reviewed at the reference Company. The results were used to correlate the existing level of knowledge at the beginning of the contracts with the results obtained during the first quality audits. The conclusion points out the low level of theoretical knowledge of the standard exhibited. It also stresses the need for a structured training program for the people responsible for implementing the Quality System at the outsourcing services.
