The brazilian grammar process of the portuguese language makes the brazilian grammarian author of the know about the Brazil language. However, with the inauguration of Nomenclatura Gramatical Brasileira , in 1958, the grammarian loses his author s place of linguistic know and this know becomes assured by the linguist: there is a change of authorship, the grammarian becomes dominated by a uniform nomenclature and the knowledge of the language becomes bailed by the linguist (ORLANDI, 2002). In this present paper we discuss the conception of the authorship that is determinated for the inauguration of NGB , observing the constitution of the linguistic and the linguist position in the end of the 50 s and the discoursivity that is built from this position about the spoken language in Brazil. In more specific terms, we intend to analyze the constitution of the linguistic position and the authorship of Mattoso Câmara (considered by the linguistic tradition the first brazilian linguist) face to the linguistic know and, consequently, to infer some linguistics ideas in circulation in the 50 s. We established as corpus of these questions analysis the twelve reviews that Mattoso wrote fort the section Livros of female magazine A Cigarra Magazine , in the period of 1957 to 1960. In those reviews, Mattoso divulged and commented thirteen handworks published or published again in that period, all of them reported to language studies. For the analysis, we inscribed ourselves in the theoretical-methodological field of the Discourse Analysis (PÊCHEUX, 1969; ORLANDI, 1999) which allows us to comprehend the constitutive historicity of sense effects produced from what is formulated by Mattoso Câmara in the reviews. To sum up, we verify how the constitution of the linguist position works and, consequent, how configures a new place of interpretation about national language.
