The lexical field relating to the rural: methodological processes and construction

Resumo: This paper falls within the scope of Structuralist Semantics, especially in Coseriu (1981) and Geckeler (1976), and proposes to present the methodological process of elaborating a lexical field, that is, the lexical field relating to the rural. To this end, it details and discusses the steps taken in the research, such as: the selection of lexical units in dictionaries, the analysis of their definitions, the identification of the archilexeme, the dimensions, the classème, the additional semes and the nuclear elements. It also emphasizes the importance of the analytical method of component analysis in this type of study, in addition to demonstrating the relevance of using lexicographic works and studies in other areas other than Linguistics for the delimitation of elements of lexical fields.

Para tanto, detalha e discute as etapas assumidas na pesquisa, tais como: a seleção das unidades lexicais em dicionários, a análise de suas definições, a identificação do arquilexema, das dimensões, do classema, dos semas adicionais e dos elementos nucleares.
