Resumo: Heimat (1999), a graphic novel by Nora Krug, is a personal account of her family and the rise of nazism in Germany. The objective of our reflection is to analyze how the memories constructed in the process of writing the book evoke a proactive nostalgia and trigger a memory-action, enabling reconciliation and forgiveness. The methodology consists of documentary research with interpretative analysis. The theoretical framework is based on concepts from authors in memory studies (Ricoeur, Pollak, Íñiguez-Rueda), nostalgia (Keithley, Pickering, Kalinina), philosophy, and psychoanalysis (Heidegger and Freud). We conclude that by reclaiming her past through proactive nostalgic exercise, Nora Krug is able to forgive and tolerate her family members, reconcile her past, and envision new futures.

O objetivo de nossa reflexão consiste em analisar como as memórias construídas no processo de escrita do livro acionam uma nostalgia propositiva e provocam uma memória-ação, possibilitando reconciliação e perdão. A metodologia consiste em pesquisa documental, com análise interpretativa. A estrutura teórica se baseia em conceitos de autores de estudos de memória (Ricoeur, Pollak, Íñiguez-Rueda), nostalgia (Keithley, Pickering, Kalinina), filosofia e psicanálise (Heidegger e Freud).
