Resumo: This paper goes over the process of translating Desglaç (2017[1989], from the catalan poet Maria-Mercè Marçal, to Brazilian Portuguese, done by the own women authors. Translation is understood as a partnership of experiences, of academic and personal pursuits, in addition to a militancy within Feminist Translation Studies. Maria-Mercè Marçal's own path of translating (GODAYOL, 2011; RIBA, 2015) is taken as a starting point to explain the intervention in the patriarchal literary system to which her choice of translating summons up and the incorporation of several voices in the literary work. This activity, as Marçal's, is part of a proposal of rescuing literature made by women through translation, according to Adrienne Rich's work (2017[1971]), who was one of the theoretical writers that inspired her most (JULIÀ, 2017). Finally, two poems are commented, exposing the agreements and distances that the path in partnership has motivated.

Universidade Federal Fluminense2019-08-27info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionAvaliado pelos paresapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.uff.br/gragoata/article/view/3410810.22409/gragoata.v24i49.34108Gragoatá; Vol. 24 No. 49 (2019): Translations and their alternatives: between craft and art; 343-367Gragoatá; v. 24 n. 49 (2019): Traduções e suas vicissitudes: entre ofício e arte; 343-3672358-41141413-907310.22409/gragoata.v24i49reponame:Gragoatáinstname:Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF)instacron:UFFporhttps://periodicos.uff.br/gragoata/article/view/34108/22224Copyright (c) 2019 Gragoatáinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessGuimarães Barboza, Beatriz ReginaMarsal, Meritxell Hernando2019-11-25T21:56:16Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/34108Revistahttps://periodicos.uff.br/gragoataPUBhttps://periodicos.uff.br/gragoata/oai||revistagragoata@gmail.com2358-41141413-9073opendoar:2019-11-25T21:56:16Gragoatá - Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF)false
