Resumo: The poetic work of the Portuguese writer Herberto Helder has been traveled many aspects of the Portuguese nation and its culture. This aims of this paper is to approach Herberto Helder’s wandering journeys in the work Os Passos em Volta, demonstrating how the author presents themes in his work, such as: exile, travel, and being a foreigner.
