Resumo: The death and the cemeteries are considered taboos by many people. On the other slide, the recentyears, we have seen an increase in research around these themes, either by trying to reflect more about death or trying to know the past through cemetery art. Each cemetery is an open -air museum because it makes it possible to reconstruct the history of traditional families, social mobility and their mentality, fruit of the political relevance and the economic opulence of the cities. In this vision, we propose a reflection on the researches, actions, walks and cultural events that make possible to see the cemetery with "other eyes".

In this vision, we propose a reflection on the researches, actions, walks and cultural events that make possible to see the cemetery with "other eyes".A morte e os cemitérios são temas considerados como tabus por grande parte da sociedade.  Por outro lado, nos últimos anos, observamos um aumento das pesquisas em torno dessas temáticas, seja por tentar refletir mais sobre a morte ou por tentar conhecer o passado através da arte cemiterial. Cada cemitério é um museu a céu aberto, pois possibilita reconstituir a história das famílias tradicionais, a mobilidade social e sua mentalidade, fruto da importância política e da opulência econômica das cidades.
