Resumo: The present article aims to discuss the presence and the female representation in the show “Agô: Iyabás Pedem Passagem” of Afoxé Oju Omim Omorewá, bringing to the dialogue aspects characteristic of the transmission of knowledge of the Afro-Brazilian religions, focusing on the transit of sacred ritual performance for artistic performance. Here, in addition to a brief summary of the show, we will make an explanation of the Iyabás and the female ancestral spirits represented there, from the perspective of the relation body x spirituality and the possible associations with contemporary women.
