Building the inclusion of the theme sexual education in the political pedagogical project of a public school of the Goiânia-Goiás in perspective of the research-action

Resumo: | Study about the difficulties faced by professors when working the theme of sexual orientation in the school environment, aiming to develop pedagogical educational practices centered in prevention. The general goal was to develop and analyze, together with the teachers of a public school located in the east side of the city of Goiânia/Goiás, the process of critical consciousness about the construction of educational strategies of prevention and promotion of the student’s sexual and reproductive health. Descriptive research of qualitative approach, with focus on research-action. A group of educators formed by teachers, principal and coordinators of the morning period of the school participated in the research. To obtain the data we used group meetings, participant observation and individual interview which happened in the period of April 2006 through March 2007. The analysis of the data was made from analytical description of the group meetings and the discussions based on the theoretical referencing. The result of this investigation showed us that the movement of the group favored the process of critical consciousness of the teachers on the complexity of the sexual orientation work in the school environment, as well as the acquisition of new knowledge that subsidized the elaboration of a proposal of inclusion of this theme in the school’s Political Pedagogical Project. We consider that the methodology of the research-action showed itself to be effective in approaching the studied group because of the participative and mobilizing characteristic, allowing the reach of the proposed goal and making it an instrument for the development of educational and innovative actions about the theme of sexual orientation in the school environment. |

El objetivo general fue desarrollar y analizar junto a profesores de un colegio público ubicado en la región este del municipio de Goiânia/Goiás, el proceso de concientización crítica a la construcción de estrategias educativas de prevención y promoción de salud sexual y reproductiva de los alumnos. Investigación descriptiva de abordaje cualitativo, con enfoque en la investigación-acción. Participaron de la investigación un grupo de educadores compuesto por profesores, directora y coordinadores del período matutino del colegio. Para la obtención de los datos utilizamos encuentros grupales, la observación participante y la entrevista individual, ocurrida en el período de abril de 2006 a marzo de 2007. El análisis de los datos fue hecho a partir de la descripción analítica de los encuentros grupales y de discusión a la luz del referencial teórico. El resultado de esta investigación nos mostró que el movimiento del grupo favoreció el proceso de concientización crítica de los profesores acerca de la complejidad del trabajo de orientación sexual en el ambiente escolar, así como la adquisición de nuevos conocimientos, que subsidiaron la elaboración de una propuesta de inclusión de esa temática en el Proyecto Político Pedagógico del colegio. Consideramos que la metodología de la investigación-acción se mostró eficaz en el abordaje del grupo estudiado por la característica participativa y movilizadora, viabilizando el alcance del objetivo propuesto e instrumentalizándolo para el desarrollo de acciones educativas innovadoras sobre la temática orientación sexual en el ambiente escolar. Estudo sobre as dificuldades enfrentadas por professores ao trabalhar a temática orientação sexual no ambiente escolar, visando desenvolver práticas pedagógicas educativas centradas na prevenção. O objetivo geral foi desenvolver e analisar junto aos professores, de um colégio público localizado na região leste do município de Goiânia/Goiás, o processo de conscientização crítica para a construção de estratégias educativas de prevenção e promoção da saúde sexual e reprodutiva dos alunos. Pesquisa descritiva de abordagem qualitativa, com enfoque na pesquisa-ação. Participaram da pesquisa um grupo de educadores composto por professores, diretora e coordenadores do período matutino do colégio. Para a obtenção dos dados utilizamos encontros grupais, a observação participante e a entrevista individual, ocorrida no período de abril de 2006 a março de 2007. A análise dos dados foi feita a partir da descrição analítica dos encontros grupais e de discussão à luz do referencial teórico. O resultado desta investigação nos mostrou que o movimento do grupo favoreceu o processo de conscientização crítica dos professores acerca da complexidade do trabalho de orientação sexual no ambiente escolar, bem como a aquisição de novos conhecimentos, que subsidiaram a elaboração de uma proposta de inclusão dessa temática no Projeto Político Pedagógico do colégio.
