The inclusion of the family in psychosocial attention: a reflection

Resumo: | doi: 10.5216/ree.v12i4.6812 This article reflects about the inclusion of the family in psychosocial care, new model proposed in mental health area that aims to care for the family unit in all its complexity, in its social territory. The family is perceived as a partner in caring for individuals suffering psychologically, but also needs to receive appropriate support to overcome situations of physical, emotional, mental and psychological fret, and must find help in the substitutive mental health services for their needs and support for its restructuring. We believe that relational technologies, especially the receptiveness and listening, are key strategies for effective inclusion of families in the substitutive mental health services. These technologies strengthen the production of health, provide for the establishment of links that allow the nuclear family the scope of a new organization, easing the process of deinstitutionalization and psychosocial rehabilitation, assumptions Psychiatric Reform. La familia es entendida como compañera en el cuidado a la persona que sufre psíquicamente, pero también necesita de suporte adecuado para superar situaciones de desgaste físico, emocional, mental y psicológico, debiendo encontrar junto a los servicios sustitutivos en salud mental el acogimiento de sus necesidades y apoyo para su reestructuración. Entendemos que las tecnologías de relación, particularmente el acogimiento y la escucha, son estrategias fundamentales para garantir la inclusión de las familias en los servicios sustitutivos en salud mental. Esas tecnologías fortalecen la producción de salud, proporcionan la creación de lazos afectivos que posibilitan el núcleo familiar alcanzar una nueva organización, facilitando el proceso de rehabilitación psicosocial y la desinstitucionalización, presupuestos de la Reforma Psiquiátrica. A família é entendida como parceira no cuidado ao indivíduo que sofre psiquicamente, mas também necessita receber o suporte adequado para superar situações de desgaste físico, emocional, mental e psicológico, devendo encontrar junto aos serviços substitutivos em saúde mental o acolhimento de suas necessidades e apoio para sua reestruturação. Entendemos que as tecnologias relacionais, especialmente o acolhimento e a escuta, são estratégias fundamentais para efetivar a inclusão das famílias nos serviços substitutivos em saúde mental. Essas tecnologias fortalecem a produção de saúde, proporcionam a criação de vínculos que possibilitam ao núcleo familiar o alcance de uma nova organização, facilitando o processo de reabilitação psicossocial e a desinstitucionalização, pressupostos da Reforma Psiquiátrica.
