Resumo: The modernization of processes and procedures through the use of technology is a trend from which Public Administration has not been immune. The management models that guide the provision of the public service have, over the years, been developed and incorporated the use of digital tools into their day-to-day activities, combining them with economy and efficiency.Transport serving institutional demands also benefited from the use of technology. The combination of outsourcing, the internet and the Global Positioning System (GPS) enabled the development of a project called TáxiGov, which has the support of third-party providers and was designed to reduce service costs and modernize the process, from requesting to execution. , until accountability. The experience began in Brasilia - Distrito Federal DF and expanded in Public Administration. The high costs of vehicular maintenance of its own fleet are an incentive for public bodies to choose to join TáxiGov, which is what happened at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), which debuted the use of TáxiGov between 2021 and 2022. analysis of the hiring documents showed the lack of a method capable of estimating the demand for transport in the institution. The aim of this study and its objective are, precisely, to identify a demand estimation mechanism for the transport service at UFG, in terms of mileage, in order to support the bidding processes for the provision of the transport service. Data were collected on the historical series of mileage traveled by UFG's own fleet between 2013 and 2022 and the mileage traveled under the TaxiGov contract. The method selected was linear regression analysis. The applied tests applied resulted in the equation represented by -60471*x + 671121, which demonstrated that there is a strong linear correlation between the data provided, which can support, in a robust way, the calculation of the demand for transport at the UFG in future contracts that need the indication of this value.

Os modelos de gestão que nortearam a prestação do serviço público foram, ao longo dos anos, se desenvolvendo e incorporando ao seu dia-a-dia o uso de ferramentas digitais, aliando-as à economicidade e à eficiência. O transporte a serviço das demandas institucionais também beneficiou-se do uso de tecnologia. A combinação entre terceirização, internet e Sistema de Posicionamento Global (GPS) possibilitou o desenvolvimento de um projeto denominado TáxiGov, que conta com apoio de prestadores terceirizados e foi pensado para diminuir os custos do serviço e modernizar o processo, desde a solicitação e a execução, até a prestação de contas. A experiência teve início em Brasília - Distrito Federal DF e se expandiu na Administração Pública. Os elevados custos da manutenção veicular de uma frota própria são um estímulo para que órgãos públicos optem por aderir ao TáxiGov, foi o que ocorreu no âmbito da Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG), que estreou o uso do TáxiGov entre 2021 e 2022. A pesquisa tem cunho qualitativo e foi desenvolvida por meio de análises bibliográfica e documental. A análise dos documentos da contratação evidenciou a falta de um método capaz de estimar a demanda por transporte na instituição. O alvo de estudo do presente trabalho e o seu objetivo são, precisamente, identificar um mecanismo de estimativa de demanda pelo serviço de transportes na UFG, em termos de quilometragem, a fim de subsidiar os processos de licitação para a prestação do serviço de transporte. Foram coletados dados sobre a série histórica da quilometragem percorrida pela frota própria da UFG entre 2013 e 2022 e da quilometragem percorrida no âmbito do contrato do TáxiGov. O método selecionado foi a análise de regressão linear.
