Resumo: | This thesis investigates body movement as work in general. It starts from the assumption that bodily movement, through corporality, constituted the human essence and, under the capitalist mode of production, is alienated, distancing human beings from what brings them closer to their totality. Therefore, the body is understood as part of this totality without the fragmentation of body and mind. To support these considerations, we resorted to the theme of work, considering it as an ontological condition, just as human body movement is. The concept developed around corporality is understood as the manifestation and expression that is proper to the body in its expression of life. The theoretical perspectives investigated were, in particular, the implications of alienated body movement in the formation of men and women and the perspectives present in Physical Education of acting in a counter-hegemonic way in the spaces where it manifests itself, through qualitatively different pedagogical practices. In this sense, there is a centrality on Physical Education as an area of knowledge. Finally, the debate revolved around the possibilities of transforming the alienated bodily practices present in the educational proposals of the Landless Workers Movement (MST). The propositions present in this text were supported by authors such as Marx, Lukács, Adorno, Mészáros, among others. |

Parte-se do pressuposto de que o movimento corporal, por meio da corporalidade, constituiu a essência humana e, sob o modo de produção capitalista se aliena, distanciando os seres humanos daquilo que os aproxima de sua totalidade. Para tanto, compreende-se o corpo como parte desta totalidade sem a fragmentação corpo e mente. Para dar sustentação à estas considerações recorreu-se à temática sobre o trabalho considerando-o como condição ontológica assim como é o movimento corporal humano. O conceito desenvolvido em torno da corporalidade é compreendido como a manifestação e expressão que é própria do corpo em sua expressão de vida. As perspectivas teóricas investigadas foram, de modo particular, as implicações do movimento corporal alienado na formação de homens e mulheres e as perspectivas presentes na Educação Física de atuar de forma contra hegemônica nos espaços aonde ela se manifesta, por meio de práticas pedagógicas qualitativamente diferentes. Nesse sentido, há uma centralidade sobre a Educação Física enquanto área do conhecimento. Por fim, o debate se deu em torno das possibilidades de transformação das práticas corporais alienadas presentes nas propostas educativas do Movimento dos Trabalhadores Sem Terra (MST).
