Resumo: | To teach Geography, we use different teaching methodologies that generally involve the use of different languages and teaching resources in classroom work. Considering that research dealing with geotechnologies as a didactic resource in the teaching and learning processes in geography is still incipient, this research was developed, which takes geotechnology as a didactic resource in geography classes in basic education. In this context, the objective of this study is to analyze to what extent the use of geotechnologies as a didactic resource in Geography classes contributes to the student's learning about the city, seeking to identify the best geotechnological tool to be used in the classroom, and how Its products, in this case satellite images, enhance the geographical understanding of urban phenomena, providing a more meaningful learning about the city and the phenomena of urban space. To meet these objectives, we opted for qualitative research, in the participatory research modality, in which the observation of classes and the interview appear as data collection methods. The actions and interpretations of this investigation consisted in the application of a didactic sequence for the teaching of contents about the city using Google Earth as a didactic resource. The proposal was thought and discussed with the teacher of the 7th grade class of the Center for Full Time Education teacher Lousinha Carvalho, in the city of Goiânia / GO, and later, in a joint action between the teacher and the researcher, was performed. From the actions developed, the results showed that the use of Google Earth Geotechnology as a didactic resource for city teaching favors the learning of geographic contents through the visualization, observation, analysis and interpretation of images, concomitant with the theoretical construction of knowledge. geographical. The results also point out that this didactic proposal opens the way for the development of notions of geographical thinking, once the students started to interpret their living spaces, establishing correlations, comparisons, spatializing the phenomena and explaining them. Through the activities developed, it was concluded that when reading the geographic information represented in satellite images and photographs, the student observed the space, analyzed it, interpreted the information and confronted it with its conceptual definition, giving meaning to the information. associating it with reality, thus structuring geographic knowledge. |

Por considerar que as pesquisas que tratam de geotecnologias como recurso didático nos processos de ensino e aprendizagem em Geografia ainda são incipientes é que se desenvolveu esta investigação, que toma as Geotecnologias como recurso didático nas aulas de Geografia na educação básica. Nesse contexto, o objetivo deste estudo é analisar em que medida o uso das geotecnologias como recurso didático nas aulas de Geografia contribui para que o aluno possa aprender sobre a cidade, buscando identificar a melhor ferramenta geotecnológica para ser utilizada na sala de aula, e como seus produtos, especificamente se tratando de imagens de satélite, potencializam a compreensão geográfica dos fenômenos urbanos, propiciando uma aprendizagem mais significativa sobre a cidade e os fenômenos do espaço urbano. Para atender esses objetivos, optou-se pela pesquisa qualitativa, na modalidade de pesquisa participativa, na qual a observação de aulas e a entrevista constam como métodos de coleta de dados. As ações e as interpretações desta investigação consistiram na aplicação de uma sequência didática para o ensino de conteúdos sobre a cidade utilizando como recurso didático o Google Earth. A proposta foi pensada e discutida junto à professora da turma de 7º ano do Centro de Educação em Período Integral Professora Lousinha Carvalho, na cidade de Goiânia/GO, e posteriormente, em uma ação conjunta entre a professora e a pesquisadora, a mesma foi executada com os alunos. A partir das ações desenvolvidas, os resultados apontaram que a utilização do programa Google Earth como recurso didático para o ensino de cidade favorece o aprendizado dos conteúdos geográficos, por meio da visualização, observação, análise e interpretação das imagens, concomitante à construção teórica do conhecimento geográfico. Os resultados apontam ainda que essa proposta didática abre caminhos para o desenvolvimento de noções do pensamento geográfico, uma vez que os alunos passaram a interpretar seus espaços de vivência, estabelecendo correlações, comparações, espacializando os fenômenos e explicando-os.
