Resumo: | The present dissertation, entitled Men Pedagogues: An Analysis of Teaching Work in Early Childhood Education of the Municipal Network of Goiânia (2018-2022), was part of the research line 'Work, Education and Social Movements' of the Graduate Program in Education (PPGE). ), linked to the Faculty of Education of the Federal University of Goiás (FE/UFG). The investigation took place between the years 2018 and 2022, based on school experience, work experience in early childhood education, observations and readings of academic texts that discuss the theme of gender differences present in teaching work in the first stage of education. basic education. The research was guided through an experience as a pedagogue of early childhood education and working with children. In addition, the empirical stage was carried out, involving data collection in the municipal public network. In this sense, it became relevant to make a historical reflection, relating social, political and cultural concepts for a better understanding of the unfolding of the construction of this pedagogue as a man. Therefore, in this work, we analyzed and reflected on the teaching work of the male pedagogue, starting from the historical point of view of these subjects. In the field research, carried out with male teachers from the Municipal Department of Education of Goiânia (SME), 12 teachers contributed to the construction of this research by answering questionnaires and interviews, and of these professionals, 3 worked directly in early childhood education. In this way, the research understands the dimension of the pedagogue man and his work in Early Childhood Education, thus allowing to elucidate the general objective of the work that involves analyzing and reflecting the processes that permeate the pedagogical practices of teaching work with children, as well as the new gender configurations of teaching work and the differences in roles between male and female pedagogues within school institutions, showing the results obtained to be extremely relevant. |

A investigação se deu entre os anos de 2018 e 2022, a partir da vivência escolar, da experiência de trabalho na educação infantil, das observações e leituras de textos acadêmicos que discutem a temática sobre as diferenças de gênero presentes no trabalho docente na primeira etapa da educação básica. Com isso, surgiu a necessidade de analisar e refletir a prática docente do professor homem e as nuanças que envolvem esse profissional, bem como ele é percebido na comunidade escolar. A pesquisa foi orientada por meio de uma experienciação enquanto pedagogo da educação infantil e do trabalho com crianças. Algumas inquietações permearam o trabalho docente: Existem muitos professores homens nessa etapa da educação básica nos Centros Municipais de Educação Infantil (CMEIS) em Goiânia? Como o professor homem se constrói nesse espaço social que é composto majoritariamente por mulheres? Para tanto, em busca de respostas a essas perguntas, durante a pesquisa, desenvolveu-se uma etapa de levantamento bibliográfico, incluindo livros, artigos, revistas, periódicos e trabalhos acadêmicos. Além disso, realizou-se a etapa empírica, envolvendo levantamento de dados na rede pública municipal. Neste sentido, tornou-se relevante fazer uma reflexão histórica, relacionando conceitos sociais, políticos e culturais para uma melhor compreensão do desdobramento da construção desse pedagogo enquanto homem. Portanto, neste trabalho, analisou-se e refletiu-se acerca do trabalho docente do pedagogo homem, partindo do ponto de vista histórico destes sujeitos. Na pesquisa de campo, realizada com professores homens da Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Goiânia (SME), 12 professores contribuíram na construção desta pesquisa respondendo a questionários e entrevistas, sendo que destes profissionais, 3 trabalhavam diretamente na educação infantil.
