BLACK WOMEN IN HIGHER EDUCATION: RESONANCES AND/IN ESCREVIVÊNCIAS

Resumo: In order to analyze the current scenario of black women in the university environment, studies that map the contemporary configurations of these trajectories are sought through bibliographic review. Thus, a few aspects of the socioeconomic situation of the black Brazilian population, especially women, undergoes a meticulous punctual articulation between theoretical dialogues and statistical data. In the escrevivências of intellectuals such as Lélia Gonzalez, bell hooks and Grada Kilomba, we identified the barriers imposed by racism to achieve entry, permanence and the development of academic careers outside eurocentrism. We conclude that the existence of black women as teachers and researchers, in these spaces, is shown as a form of resistance and confrontation to white supremacy, which insists on monopolizing scientific territories and many other social realms. Racism.Para analizar el escenario actual de la mujer negra en el ámbito universitario, se buscan estudios que mapeen las configuraciones contemporáneas de estas trayectorias a través de la revisión bibliográfica. Así, algunos aspectos de la situación socioeconómica de la población negra brasileña, especialmente de las mujeres, experimentan una articulación puntual entre los diálogos teóricos y los datos estadísticos. En las escrevivências de intelectuales como Lélia González, bell hooks y Grada Kilomba, identificamos las barreras que impone el racismo para lograr el ingreso, la permanencia y el desarrollo de carreras académicas fuera del eurocentrismo. Concluimos que la existencia de mujeres negras como docentes e investigadoras, en estos espacios, se muestra como una forma de resistencia y enfrentamiento a la supremacía blanca, que insiste en monopolizar territorios científicos y varios otros ámbitos sociales. Racismo.Visando analisar o cenário atual das mulheres negras no meio universitário, buscamos, através da revisão bibliográfica, estudos que mapeiam as configurações contemporâneas dessas trajetórias. Assim, alguns aspectos da situação socioeconômica da população negra brasileira, sobretudo, feminina, passam por uma pontual articulação entre diálogos teóricos e dados estatísticos. Nas escrevivências de intelectuais como Lélia Gonzalez, bell hooks e Grada Kilomba, identificamos as barreiras impostas pelo racismo para se alcançar o ingresso, a permanência e o desenvolvimento de carreiras acadêmicas alheias ao eurocentrismo. Concluímos que a existência de mulheres negras professoras e pesquisadoras, nesses espaços, mostra-se como uma forma de resistência e combate à supremacia branca, que insiste em monopolizar os territórios científicos e diversas outras esferas sociais.  PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Mulheres Negras.
