IMAGES OF CHILDHOOD: THE MEDIA CULTURE REPRESENTATIONS AND PRACTICES IN CHILDREN'S BODY

Resumo: The media have established a new way of interpreting the situations of everyday life, even changing the very concept of childhood and children's play mode. Thus, this study aimed to identify and analyze the presence of media in children's body practices. To check the response of children to this phenomenon, we conducted field research in a public school in Brasília-DF, following them through observations, form, conversations, jokes and cartoons. The results indicate the presence of media discourses on bodily practices for children both inside and outside the school environment, and the preference of children to programs outside their age group. Body practices.Los medios de comunicación han creado una nueva forma de interpretar las situaciones de la vida cotidiana, cambiando incluso el concepto mismo de la infancia y el modo de juego para niños. Así, este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar y analizar la presencia de los medios de comunicación en las prácticas del cuerpo de los niños. Para comprobar la respuesta de los niños a este fenómeno, se realizó investigación de campo en una escuela pública en Brasilia-DF, a raíz de ellos a través de observaciones, la forma, conversaciones, chistes y caricaturas. Los resultados indican la presencia de los discursos de los medios de comunicación sobre las prácticas corporales de los niños, tanto dentro como fuera del entorno escolar, y la preferencia de los niños a los programas fuera de su grupo de edad. Prácticas Corporales.O estudo teve como objetivo identificar e analisar práticas corporais infantis, de crianças entre 8 e 10 anos de idade, enfocando a presença da mídia em tais práticas. Foi realizada pesquisa de campo, de cunho qualitativo, envolvendo produção de dados em uma escola da rede pública de ensino do Distrito Federal, Brasil. As técnicas utilizadas compreenderam observação participante; coleta de desenhos; contato direto com crianças, por meio de conversas; e aplicação de “formulário sobre práticas culturais e de consumo de mídias”. Os resultados apontam para a presença contumaz de discursos midiáticos no imaginário e em práticas corporais infantis. Por outro lado, as crianças perpetuam brincadeiras tradicionais.Palavras-chave: Infância. Práticas corporais. Mídias.
