Resumo: The aim of this article is to describe and analyze the discussed and observed contents from a training course directed to physical educators of social program. The data were collected during the course from a logbook and a focus group during the course.  It is concluded that the themes related to social vulnerability must be taken into consideration in the process of reformulation of the proposal of the basic and continuing formation to physical educators professionals or exercise of their professional practice, allowing the understanding of the role of the educator and social programs in the integration of social support among children in vulnerable situations. Physical EducatorEl objetivo de este artículo es describir y analizar los contenidos discutidos y observados durante un curso de capacitación direccionado para educadores físicos de un programa social, referido a la realidad de niños y adolecentes en situación de vulnerabilidad social. Los resultados fueron generados a partir del análisis temático de los contenidos de la bitácora de trabajo de grupos focales. Se concluye que los temas relacionados con la vulnerabilidad social deben ser llevados en consideración en el proceso de reformulación de propuestas de formación básica y  continua, para profesionales en formación o ejercicio de su práctica (profesional), posibilitando la compresión de la función del educador y de los programas sociales en la integración de la red de soporte social con este público. Palabras clave: Vulnerabilidad Social. Educación FísicaO objetivo deste artigo é descrever e analisar os conteúdos discutidos e observados durante um curso de capacitação direcionado para educadores físicos de um programa social, sobre a realidade de crianças e adolescentes em situação de vulnerabilidade social. Os dados foram coletados a partir de diário de bordo e grupo focal e analisados utilizando análise temática de conteúdo. Conclui-se que temas relacionados à vulnerabilidade social devem ser levados em consideração no processo de reformulação das propostas de formação básica e continuada para profissionais em formação ou no exercício de sua prática, possibilitando a compreensão da função do educador e de programas sociais na integração entre a rede de suporte social e esse público.
