RAILROAD: the announcement of the metamorphoses of modernization of the territory in Southeast Goiás

Resumo: | At the beginning of the twentieth century was a factor of prime importance for the start of the development of Goiás and the modernization of the territory: the arrival of the railroad in the Southeast portion of the state. The arrival of the railroad land in Goiás meant much more than a modern form of movement. Considered a symbol of modernity and capitalist expansion, the railroad made possible the integration of the state economy of southeastern Brazil, through a new division of labor, or more specifically, the capitalist relations of production. Thus, designing the railway as a symbol of capitalist expansion in Goiás, requires placing it in the list of changes that happened in this period in the forms of production and circulation and also in the livelihoods of the population of the geographic areas covered with the implementation of the rails. Logically, the stronger impact of the insertion of Mogiana railroad was built where the first part, covering the cities of Catalão, Goiandira, Ipameri, Pires do Rio and Urutaí. |

La llegada de los terrenos del ferrocarril en Goiás significaba mucho más que una forma moderna de movimiento. Considerada un símbolo de la modernidad y la expansión capitalista, el ferrocarril hizo posible la integración de la economía del estado del sureste de Brasil, a través de una nueva división del trabajo, o más específicamente, las relaciones capitalistas de producción. Por lo tanto, el diseño de la vía férrea como un símbolo de la expansión capitalista en Goiás, requiere poner en la lista de cambios que han ocurrido en este período en las formas de producción y circulación, y también en los medios de vida de la población de las áreas geográficas cubiertas con la aplicación de los rieles. Lógicamente, el mayor impacto de la inserción de la Mogiana ferrocarril fue construido en la primera parte, que abarca las ciudades de Catalão, Goiandira, Ipameri, Pires do Rio y Urutaí.No início do século XX, ocorreu um fator de primordial importância para a arrancada do desenvolvimento em Goiás e para a modernização do território: a implantação da ferrovia na porção Sudeste do estado. A chegada da ferrovia em terras goianas significou muito mais que um moderno meio de circulação. Considerada como um símbolo de modernidade e de expansão capitalista, a ferrovia viabilizou a integração do estado a economia do Sudeste do Brasil, por meio de uma nova divisão do trabalho, ou mais especificamente, nas relações capitalistas de produção. Assim, conceber a ferrovia como um símbolo da expansão capitalista para Goiás, requer colocá-la na lista das mudanças que houve nesse período nas formas de produção e de circulação e também nos modos de vida da população dos espaços geográficos contemplados com a implantação dos trilhos.
