Dynamics of the territory in networks: the arrival of railroad in Ipameri, Goiás

Resumo: | The integration of a territory in networks raises changes in its dynamics. In view of this fact, this study aims to analyze the establishment of Goiás Railroad in Ipameri and identify the hegemonic groups responsible for its implementation. For the accomplishment of this article, the methodology used was theoretical research and documentary research. In 1913, the connection of Ipameri with Southeastern Brazilian region, through railroad, resulted in its pioneering and urbanization in the face of others municipalities of Goiás. Thus, Ipameri was the first of this state contemplated with electric power, telegraph, Banco do Brasil branch and cinema. However, in the 1950-1980 period, the railroad link between Ipameri and Anápolis became obsolete, due to the greater efficiency of automotive vehicles, occasioning stagnation of Ipameri. Therefore, throughout the XX century, the territorial dynamics of this municipality was articulated with the implementation of rail network. |

En esta perspectiva, este estudio objetiva analizar la instauración de la vía férrea de Goiás en Ipameri e identificar los grupos hegemónicos responsables por su implementación. Para la realización de este artículo, la metodología utilizada fue la investigación teórica y la investigación documental. En 1913, la integración de Ipameri a la región Sudeste del país, por medio del ferrocarril, resultó en su pionerismo y urbanización frente a los demás municipios de Goiás. Así, Ipameri fue el primero del estado a ser contemplado con energía eléctrica, telégrafo, agencia del Banco do Brasil y cine. Sin embargo, en el período de 1950-1980, el tramo del ferrocarril que unía Ipameri a la ciudad de Anápolis se tornó obsoleto, en virtud de la mayor eficiencia de los vehículos automotores, lo que ocasionó el estancamiento de Ipameri. Por tanto, a lo largo del siglo XX, la dinámica territorial de este municipio se articuló con la implementación de la red ferroviaria.A inserção de um território em redes suscita transformações na sua dinâmica. Nesta perspectiva, o presente trabalho objetiva analisar a instauração da Estrada de Ferro de Goiás em Ipameri e identificar os grupos hegemônicos responsáveis por sua efetuação. Para a realização deste artigo, a metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa teórica e a pesquisa documental. No ano de 1913, a integração de Ipameri à Região Sudeste do país, por meio da ferrovia, resultou em seu pioneirismo e urbanização em face dos demais municípios goianos. Assim, Ipameri foi o primeiro do estado a ser contemplado com energia elétrica, telégrafo, agência do Banco do Brasil e cinema. Entretanto, no período de 1950-1980 o trecho da ferrovia que ligava Ipameri a Anápolis tornou-se obsoleto, em virtude da maior eficiência dos veículos automotivos, o que contribui para a estagnação de Ipameri.
