Resumo: | The work aims to present and reflect on the geosymbols - crosses, chapels, tombstones, mortuary urns - found, mainly on the shores of the roads as Brazilian religious landscape, an inherent hierofania of the homo religiosus taking closer symbolic and cultural practices in communities with identified of popular religiosity, particulary related to the Roman Catholic creed, though relations syncretic quite considerable and complex analysis. It was elaborated from concepts formulated for diverse authors such as Eliade (2001), Tuan (1980), Rosendahl (1997, 2001, 2003) and Correa (1997) and seeks to expand dialogue cultural geography with religious and cultural phenomena that about us. |

It was elaborated from concepts formulated for diverse authors such as Eliade (2001), Tuan (1980), Rosendahl (1997, 2001, 2003) and Correa (1997) and seeks to expand dialogue cultural geography with religious and cultural phenomena that about us.Este trabajo tiene como objetivo presentar y reflexionar sobre la geossímbolos como las cruces, capillas, lápidas, urnas funerarias, que se encuentra principalmente a lo largo de las carreteras como el paisaje religioso brasileño, una visión misteriosa del homo religiosus inherente, y en la mayoría de los casos, grandes enfoque simbólico y las comunidades culturales identificados con las prácticas religiosas populares, especialmente los relacionados con el credo católico romano, aunque las relaciones sincréticas bastante considerable y complejo análisis. Fue desarrollado a partir de los conceptos formulados por autores como Eliade (2001), Rosendahl (1997, 2001, 2003) y Correa (1997), y trata de ampliar el diálogo de la geografía cultural con los fenómenos religiosos y culturales de nosotros.O presente trabalho pretende apresentar e refletir sobre os geossímbolos como as cruzes, capelas, lápides, urnas mortuárias, encontrados, principalmente, às margens das rodovias brasileiras como paisagem religiosa, uma hierofania inerente do homo religiosus, tendo, na grande maioria das vezes, grande aproximação simbólica e cultural em comunidades identificadas com práticas de religiosidade popular, notadamente relacionadas ao credo católico romano, embora tenha relações sincréticas bastante consideráveis e de complexa análise.
