Resumo: Eight potato varieties, Baronesa, Canguçu and Piratini, from the state of Rio Grande do Sul, and the German varieties Achat, Echo, Fátima, Jetta and Porta were tested in this trial, during the dry season, in Goiânia, state of Goiás. Baronesa resulted the best one in total yield and production of large tubers (over 60 grams) followed next by Piratini. However, there are doubts wether their pink skinned tubers would be accepted by the consumer of this region, accustomed to yellow potatoes. Among the German varieties, Porta and Fátima ranked best and even they yielded less than Baronesa and Piratini, there was no significant difference between the two groups.

Escola de Agronomia - Universidade Federal de Goiás2007-10-19info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionAvaliado por paresapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.ufg.br/pat/article/view/1949Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical [Agricultural Research in the Tropics]; v. 2, n. 1, Jan./Dec. 1972; 77-82Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical (Agricultural Research in the Tropics); v. 2, n. 1, jan./dez. 1972; 77-82Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical; v. 2, n. 1, jan./dez. 1972; 77-821983-4063reponame:Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical (Online)instname:Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG)instacron:UFGporhttps://revistas.ufg.br/pat/article/view/1949/1880Sonnenberg, Peter E.Zica, Lincoln F.info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2020-02-26T23:46:28Zoai:ojs.revistas.ufg.br:article/1949Revistahttps://revistas.ufg.br/patPUBhttps://revistas.ufg.br/pat/oaiaseleguini.pat@gmail.com||mgoes@agro.ufg.br1983-40631517-6398opendoar:2024-05-21T19:54:54.549706Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical (Online) - Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG)true
