Resumo: In the ambit of Analysis of Discourse (French school), this article intends toinvestigate how the journalistic discouse enrolls senses as far as Dorothy Stang’smurder is concerned. Basing on the concepts of discursive memory andheterogeneity, we interpreted a linguistic corpus constituted by the first page ofFolha de S. Paulo, as well as the electronic version Folha OnLine.
