Coloniality generated the need to legitimize the conquest of America, culminating in the implementation of an International Law, which was initially used to justify the extermination of cultures and populations, building a universally obligatory legal framework. In another turn, the present work aims to investigate the implications of coloniality at an internal level (internal coloniality) within the field of International Law. Therefore, we sought to understand, through a dialectical approach, due to the understanding that the problem needs to be understood from the qualitative understanding of the current structure of International Law. As for the analysis of objectives, this was carried out in an exploratory way. Bibliographic and documentary tools were used as procedures.
