Resumo: The present research aims to verify if the training courses offered by UFMS are developing the necessary skills for the full exercise of the functions of administrative technicians of the Faculty of Human Sciences (FACH) of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul - UFMS. Based on bibliometric research, the themes addressed and the methodological procedures of the selected researches. The methodology applied is a case study, for which document analyzes were carried out and questionnaires were applied to the servers. Subsequently, the mapping of competencies was carried out and the gaps were verified, which were confronted with the courses offered. The results show that the courses meet the technical skills satisfactorily, however, the behavioral skills are only superficially met

A partir de uma pesquisa bibliométrica, temáticas abordadas e dos procedimentos metodológicos das pesquisas selecionadas. A metodologia aplicada é estudo de caso, para tanto foram feitas análises documentais e aplicação de questionários nos servidores. Posteriormente foi realizado o mapeamento das competências e verificado os gaps, que foram confrontados com os cursos ofertados.
