Resumo: | This text is part of a master's dissertation research carried out in 2019 and accomplished in 2021, at the Post-Graduation Program in Geography at the Federal University of Grande Dourados (PPGG/UFGD). The research had as one of the objectives to understand the day-to-day teaching in the classroom of geography teachers who have students with Intellectual Disabilities enrolled in their groups. The relevance of this work is given by the right to education for students with ID in regular schools since the National Policy of Special Education/2008 and the Brazilian Law of Inclusion/2015, which brought visibility and dignity to those who previously lived segregated in philanthropic institutions or special classes. In this way, we highlight aspects about the teaching of geography and the opinion of teachers from municipal schools in Dourados (MS) who report their experiences regarding the inclusion of students who have Intellectual Disabilities, as well as the practices they develop in the teaching-learning processes involving those students and others without disabilities. |

La investigación tuvo como uno de los objetivos comprender cómo es el día a día de la enseñanza en el aula de los profesores de geografía que tienen alumnos con Discapacidad Intelectual matriculados en sus clases. La relevancia de este trabajo está dada por el derecho a la educación de los estudiantes con DI en las escuelas regulares a partir de la Política Nacional de Educación Especial/2008 y la Ley Brasileña de Inclusión/2015, que trajo visibilidad y dignidad a quienes antes vivían segregados en las instituciones filantrópicas o clases especiales. De esta forma, destacamos aspectos sobre la enseñanza de geografía y la opinión de docentes de escuelas municipales de Dourados (MS) que relatan sus experiencias en cuanto a la inclusión de alumnos que tienen Discapacidad Intelectual, así como las prácticas que desarrollan en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje que involucran esos estudiantes y otros sin discapacidades.O presente texto faz parte de uma pesquisa de dissertação de mestrado realizada no ano de 2019 e defendida no ano de 2021, no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Geografia (PPGG/UFGD). A pesquisa teve como um dos objetivos, compreender como é o dia a dia de ensino em sala de aula de professores de geografia que possuem alunos com Deficiência Intelectual em suas turmas. A pertinência deste trabalho se dá pelo fato de o direito à educação para o aluno com DI nas escolas regulares ter se iniciado a partir da Política Nacional de Educação Especial/2008 e Lei Brasileira de Inclusão/2015, que juntas trouxeram visibilidade e dignidade para aqueles que anteriormente viviam segregados em instituições filantrópicas ou classes especiais.
