The technical visit as a methodological resource to the study of tourism in conservation units

Resumo: | This article discusses the importance of technical visits as a methodological resource in the tourism segment through the geographical view, an iportant requirement for teaching-learning. The research developed in the geographical area of the Delta of Parnaíba and approached the experiences of undergraduate and graduate students and professors of the Federal University of Piauí. The scenario studied was two conservation units: the Parnaíba Delta Environmental Protection Area (APA) and the Parnaíba Delta Marine Extractive Reserve (RESEX). The methodology used was the preparation for the field with readings, classes, bibliographic and documentary survey on the area visited. An itinerary of observation, photographic record and mapping of places of tourist interest and compartmentalization of natural and anthropological elements was used. The results showed that the theory-practice relationship is an important didactic resource for satisfactory results, since it deals with (theoretical) formation and experience (practice) as the primary factors for learning. Thus, at the end of the visits the students and teachers made meetings and check lists of all the observed points that can be used in the professional formation of the students and in creative methodologies. |

A pesquisa se desenvolveu no espaço geográfico do Delta do Parnaíba e abordou as experiências dos alunos e professores de graduação e pós-graduação da Universidade Federal do Piauí. O cenário estudado foram duas unidades de conservação: a Área de Proteção Ambiental Delta do Parnaíba (APA) e a Reserva Extrativista Marinha Delta do Parnaíba (RESEX). A metodologia utilizada foi a preparação para o campo com leituras, aulas, levantamento bibliográfico e documental sobre a área visitada. Foi utilizado um roteiro de observação, registro fotográfico e mapeamento dos lugares de interesse turístico e compartimentação dos elementos naturais e antropológicos. Os resultados apontaram que a relação teoria-prática é um recurso didático importante para resultados satisfatórios pois aborda a formação (teórica) e a experiência (prática) como fatores primordiais para a aprendizagem.
